Hello from Surfside Beach, South Carolina! If you’re new here, you can check out my posts about moving to South Carolina and our time in Beaufort to get caught up. Today, we are on the home stretch of our time down south. That’s right, just one month until we head back north and I already have the Sunday Scaries about it.
So what’s in Surfside Beach, you ask? Well there’s the beach, tons of mini-golf and way too many beach apparel stores.
We landed here because of the airbnb we found. It is pet-friendly, home-office friendly, steps from the beach and within a private community. We’re basically living in a retirement community and even though we have to work all day, it’s pretty great.
We spend most of our time at the beach.
There’s an executive golf course across the street where I kick Glenn’s butt.
We’ve visited a few State Parks.
And eaten a lot of breakfast foods.
And look, and I got vaccinated here too!

I am glad to see you had a fun time by the beach. And congratulations on getting vaccinated. I’ve received my first Astra Zeneca dose and waiting for the second one. My arm was sore for a few days, but other then that, I had no side-effects. Cheers and have a good day. Aiva :) xxx
